Hyatt is my favorite hotel brand because it's a very consistent product and I'm always treated very well.  The Park Hyatt in Siem Reap is no exception.

At the top of Hyatt's brands, Park Hyatt have an almost boutique feel and a lot more emphasis is placed on design elements than their other brands.

I arrived exhausted so a comfortable bed was a welcome sight.

And with Hyatt, I find that it's often the little things that stand out the most.  Amid the COVID-19 scare, this was the first hotel I experienced on this trip that called out precautions they had taken.

In the morning, the garden served as a tranquil setting for breakfast before a full day of visiting temples.

After a long day on my feet, some pool time was in order.  Conveniently, my room was right next to the free-form pool...

However much of the pool area was shaded and rather chilly despite the high outdoor temperatures.

Downstairs, the Saltwater pool was a little warmer but as the sun went down, so did the air temperature and I decided to just go relax at the bar and catch up on work.
